Corporate/M&A Lawyer for Australian Law AI Evaluation [Remote]

Role Overview

Apply your Australian corporate and commercial law expertise to evaluate AI-generated legal answers. You will test the same legal prompts across two AI platforms, assess the responses side by side, and provide structured, written evaluations that help benchmark answer quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Run an assigned set of prompts through two AI language-model platforms.
• Compare both outputs side by side for accuracy and quality.
• Score each response using a standardized evaluation rubric.
• Submit concise written feedback for every evaluation.

Qualifications

• Qualified to practise law in Australia, with strong knowledge of Australian corporate and commercial law.
• At least 2 years of primarily law-firm experience in corporate, M&A, or transactional practice. Three or more years is preferred.
• Candidates currently working in-house are eligible only if they moved in-house within the last 2 years and previously gained their relevant experience at a law firm.
• Native-level or fluent English and precise written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, follow a rubric, and meet deadlines.

Work Terms

• Remote role for candidates located in Australia.
• Hourly independent-contractor engagement.
• Initial commitment of approximately 10 hours, with potential for additional work.
• All work is subject to a confidentiality agreement.

Compensation

$100 to $120 per hour.
