Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, or illnesses to determine their specific rehabilitation needs.
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans utilizing a variety of techniques including therapeutic exercises, hands-on manipulation, and specialized equipment.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to enhance patient outcomes and provide clear documentation of treatment provided and progress made.
• Engage patients in their recovery process by tracking their progress and modifying treatment plans as necessary.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapeutic exercises and the safe use of assistive devices to promote independent living.
• Stay current with professional development by attending relevant workshops and maintaining active membership in professional organizations.

As a Physical Therapist at Perfect Health, you will work with a diverse patient demographic ranging from children to older adults, each presenting unique challenges and recovery goals. Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• Possession of a valid Physical Therapy license in the state of Virginia.

• Proficiency with technology including word processing and electronic health record systems.

Preferred Experience

• Two years of experience as a practicing Physical Therapist in a rehabilitation setting is preferred but not required.
