Healthcare Attorney for AI Model Training [Remote]

Provide expert healthcare law guidance to shape the training and evaluation of next generation AI systems. You will apply your domain knowledge to review and annotate legal materials, draft and critique sample legal content, evaluate model outputs for legal accuracy, and deliver written feedback that improves AI legal reasoning. This is a remote contractor role supporting a specialized project for a customer with evolving needs. No prior AI experience is required.

• Analyze, review, and annotate healthcare legal documents and regulatory materials to support AI learning objectives.
• Draft and critique sample legal content focused on compliance, fraud and abuse, patient privacy, telemedicine, and related healthcare topics.
• Evaluate AI model outputs for accuracy, clarity, and adherence to U.S. healthcare law and ethical standards.
• Provide detailed written feedback designed to improve legal reasoning and consistency of AI responses.
• Identify emerging legal issues or trends in healthcare law that are relevant to the project’s ongoing needs.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams through written and verbal communication to clarify legal concepts and align on project goals.
• Contribute practical scenarios and real world use cases that reflect common legal challenges in healthcare.

• Juris Doctor degree preferred, active license to practice law in the United States preferred.
• Significant experience advising on U.S. healthcare law, compliance, and regulatory matters, including HIPAA, Stark Law, and the Anti Kickback Statute.
• Proven skills in legal document review and annotation, policy analysis, and contract drafting.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal topics clearly and precisely.
• Attention to detail and commitment to delivering accurate, high quality legal input.
• Familiarity with healthcare operations, risk management, or clinical practice environments is a plus.
• Interest in emerging technologies, legal innovation, or AI related projects is helpful but not required.
