Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess clients' mental health needs, histories, and treatment objectives, adapting methods to suit each individual's circumstances.
• Provide therapeutic services, including individual, couples, and family therapy using evidence-based approaches such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, mindfulness techniques, and narrative therapy.
• Design and implement personalized treatment plans that align with clients’ unique requirements and continuously evaluate their progress.
• Engage in regular consultations with clients to adjust treatment strategies as needed, fostering an atmosphere of growth and discovery.
• Adhere to ethical standards and confidentiality requirements to maintain trust and safety in the therapeutic relationship.
• Participate in ongoing professional development initiatives, including training and workshops, to stay abreast of advancements in clinical practices.
• Build a supportive therapeutic alliance that facilitates open communication and empowers clients to tackle their challenges.
• Assist clients in navigating life's obstacles by providing practical strategies and emotional support.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily serve clients within the hospice care setting, addressing not only their mental health needs but also providing support for their families during critical life events. Our clients often face complex emotional challenges, including grief, loss, and adjustment to terminal illnesses. Your expertise will play a significant role in improving their emotional well-being and quality of life during this sensitive time.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Current active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience, ideally within a private practice setting.
• Strong clinical competencies in assessment, treatment planning, and therapeutic interventions.
• Exceptional communication, empathy, and interpersonal skills to effectively build rapport with clients.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working specifically within hospice care settings, with an understanding of the unique challenges faced by this patient population.
• Proficiency in utilizing telehealth platforms and digital tools for remote client engagement.
• Background in trauma-informed care and grief counseling.

Compensation and Benefits
