Advanced Behavioral Health Counseling is seeking a dedicated Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our remote team as a School-Based Mental Health Specialist. Work Environment

This position offers the flexibility of a remote work setting while being dedicated to school environments. You will interact with students, parents, and educational staff through virtual sessions and occasional in-person meetings as needed. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to gather relevant information about students’ mental health, strengths, challenges, and support systems.
• Provide individual, family, and group therapy by utilizing evidence-based treatment modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy and solution-focused therapy.
• Create and implement individualized treatment plans that address specific goals and interventions tailored to each student’s needs.
• Collaborate closely with school psychologists, educators, and other mental health professionals to ensure coordinated and holistic care for students.
• Engage in crisis intervention, conducting risk assessments, and developing safety planning when required to maintain student safety.
• Maintain detailed and timely documentation in compliance with professional, ethical, and legal guidelines, ensuring that each case is managed effectively.
• Facilitate engaging group therapy sessions, psychoeducation classes, and support groups focusing on specific mental health topics relevant to students.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work predominantly with school-age children and adolescents facing various mental health issues. You will provide support to students grappling with anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, and trauma, creating a safe space for expression and growth. Your expertise will also enable you to engage with families, ensuring a collaborative approach to treatment that fosters understanding and support both at school and home.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• A minimum of two years of experience in a mental health or outpatient setting, preferably working with children and adolescents.
• Strong understanding of evidence-based therapeutic modalities and a commitment to ongoing professional development.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a capacity to connect with students and their families empathetically.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in a school setting or familiarity with working collaboratively in educational environments.
• Knowledge of special education processes and the ability to advocate for students' mental health needs within that framework.
• A demonstrated ability to develop community partnerships that enhance mental health support for students.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $80,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additionally, we provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
