Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of students' mental health status and needs, utilizing appropriate diagnostic tools, such as the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM-5), to inform individualized treatment plans.

• Continually evaluate and document patients’ progress in a timely manner, adapting therapeutic interventions based on the effectiveness of the treatment strategies employed.

• Develop collaborative treatment plans in partnership with patients, their families, and educators, ensuring alignment with the unique needs and cultural contexts of the student population.

• Implement interventions and therapeutic strategies tailored to the psychological and emotional challenges presented by a cancer diagnosis, including coping mechanisms and resilience training.

• Maintain accurate and professional documentation of all patient interactions, treatment plans, and progress updates in compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.

• Coordinate referrals and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and external resources to optimize patient care and facilitate additional support services.

• Engage in training and mentoring of interns, students, and new staff, guiding them in clinical practices and professional development.

Qualifications\n
