Work Environment\n

This position is a full-time role that allows for a flexible work environment. While much of the interaction will take place through telehealth, you will also have opportunities for face-to-face sessions at our community health clinic in Fresno. The setting is conducive to collaboration, with accessibility to various support resources, ensuring you can focus on your clients' needs without unnecessary distractions.

Key Responsibilities\n

As an LPCC at Insight Therapy, your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate a patient's historical and present trauma experiences.
  • \n
  • Developing comprehensive individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's unique pathways to trauma recovery and resilience.
  • \n
  • Providing evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).
  • \n
  • Facilitating both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping clients process traumatic experiences, develop effective coping strategies, and foster emotional healing.
  • \n
  • Collaborating with a team of psychiatrists and other health professionals to ensure integrated and cohesive care for all clients, enhancing treatment effectiveness.
  • \n
  • Offering crisis intervention support to clients during trauma-related emergencies while maintaining a calm and supportive environment.
  • \n
  • Educating clients and their families on trauma responses, coping strategies, and available resources, nurturing their understanding and empowerment.
  • \n
  • Staying current with the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy through professional development activities, team meetings, and case consultations.

Our patient population includes diverse individuals and families, many of whom confront significant trauma-related challenges. We are particularly focused on supporting clients in implementing effective coping mechanisms and promoting resilience through evidence-based practices. Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Master's or Doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.
  • \n
  • Current and valid licensure as an LPCC in the state of California.
  • \n
  • A foundational knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities.

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, exemplified by a compassionate and non-judgmental demeanor.

Preferred Experience\n

While we welcome all qualified applicants, preference will be given to candidates with:

  • A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in trauma-focused therapeutic interventions.

  • Experience working effectively in a multidisciplinary team setting.

  • Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and related computer applications.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 110,000 annually , commensurate with experience and qualifications. Our benefits package includes:
