Your working hours will be primarily Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with potential adjustments to accommodate patient requirements.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to accurately gauge patients' trauma histories and determine suitable therapeutic strategies.

• Design and implement detailed individualized treatment plans aimed at promoting resilience and recovery from trauma.

• Utilize evidence-based approaches such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) during therapy sessions.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapies focused on helping patients process their experiences, develop effective coping strategies, and foster environments conducive to healing.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, social workers, and fellow mental health professionals to ensure an integrated, holistic treatment plan for each patient.

• Provide crisis intervention services and support during emergencies related to trauma, ensuring swift and compassionate responses.

• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available resources within our community and the healthcare system.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily focus on individuals who have experienced trauma and are navigating the complexities of recovery. This may include but is not limited to adult survivors of abuse, veterans, and those affected by acute incidents of violence. You will play a pivotal role in supporting these individuals on their path to healing and re-establishing control over their lives.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Possession of current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW within the state of New Jersey.

• Solid foundation of knowledge regarding trauma-related disorders and the application of trauma-informed treatment modalities.

Compensation and Benefits\n
