Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' trauma history, ensuring accurate diagnosis and identification of adequate treatment pathways.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery and resilience-building, utilizing innovative methodologies tailored to each patient’s needs.

• Employ evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to facilitate patient healing processes.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, guiding patients in processing their trauma and developing effective coping strategies.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary teams to create integrated care plans that address all facets of a patient’s well-being.

• Provide critical crisis intervention during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring immediate support and care for patients in distress.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses and coping mechanisms, empowering them with knowledge and resources.

• Maintain precise and confidential documentation of patient interactions, adhering to legal and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily serves individuals affected by various forms of trauma, including but not limited to PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Our patient population is diverse, reflecting a range of backgrounds and experiences, and your expertise will be crucial in providing the specialized care they require. Qualifications\n

• Master's degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LPC, or LCSW) in the state of New Jersey.

• Knowledge and understanding of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a compassionate, non-judgmental demeanor.

• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant computer applications.

• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of USD 90,000 – 110,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additional benefits include:
