The role is designed for a full-time employee, working Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, in a fully remote capacity. Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments of clients’ mental health and emotional well-being during initial consultations.

• Developing, implementing, and monitoring individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's unique needs and circumstances.

• Providing ongoing individual and group therapy sessions, employing evidence-based practices that respect and integrate cultural perspectives.

• Equipping clients with coping strategies and practical tools, facilitating regular progress evaluations to ensure therapeutic goals are met.

• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and social workers, to ensure a holistic approach to client care.

• Maintaining accurate, up-to-date documentation in our EHR system that reflects each client’s journey and progress in therapy.

• Engaging in regular supervision and utilizing peer feedback to enhance therapeutic approaches and personal professional development.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our client population consists of individuals facing a range of mental health challenges, including but not limited to anxiety disorders, depression, PTSD, substance abuse issues, and eating disorders. You will work with diverse groups of clients, including children, adolescents, and adults, focusing on building rapport and establishing trust to foster effective therapeutic relationships.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess the following educational and professional qualifications:

• Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid New York state license as an LMHC, LMFT, LCSW, or LCSW-R.

• A minimum of two years of related clinical experience in mental health counseling, with a demonstrated track record of successful patient outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits\n
