About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department experience required Must have 1 year of travel experience Oncology experience is preferred, but not required License: Valid compact or state nursing license in hand at time of application Certifications: Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Must-Have: EPIC experience is required Proficient in IV starts Experience with telemetry monitoring Description: This position is in a specialized unit within the Emergency Department. It is designed to meet the urgent and complex needs of cancer patients while preserving the fast-paced, high-acuity environment of emergency medicine. Floating may be required as per unit needs. Patient ratio is 1:4. Prorated refunds may be available for unused future months on annual permits, with current and prior months being non-refundable. Please note that compliance with strict deadlines is mandatory for candidates. Completion of necessary background checks is required promptly after contract acceptance. Two professional references are needed, with at least one from a leadership position. No coworker references are accepted. Current employees are not eligible to hire for travel positions. Education must be from an accredited program.
