This full-time position is primarily remote and focuses on providing critical support to patients in their recovery journeys from substance use disorders. Work Environment\n

Our work setting is primarily remote to accommodate the diverse needs of our patients while maintaining a flexible schedule. However, our outpatient office in Mount Vernon serves as a hub for team collaboration and in-person consultations as needed. The working hours are Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with some evening shifts required to meet patient demands. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to determine the specific needs and objectives of individuals seeking treatment for substance use disorders.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of this role is on individuals struggling with substance use disorders, ranging from those at various levels of addiction severity to their families. You will be crucial in providing both individual and group therapy sessions while addressing the specific challenges these patients face as they navigate their recovery journeys.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LCSW-R, LMHC, or LMFT within the state of New York.

• A strong understanding of substance use disorders and recovery-oriented care, along with familiarity with evidence-based treatment modalities.

• Diligent experience in providing both individual and group therapy in the context of addiction treatment.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, implementing a non-judgmental and empathetic approach with patients.

Compensation and Benefits\n
