Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and screenings of clients to accurately identify mental health issues, guiding the development of personalized treatment plans.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that address the unique needs and objectives of each client.

• Lead effective individual and group therapy sessions, employing evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to foster therapeutic progress.

• Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary treatment teams that include psychiatrists, psychologists, and case managers to provide integrated care and ensure clients receive the most comprehensive support available.

• Educate and engage clients' families, encouraging their involvement in the treatment process to build a supportive home environment conducive to recovery.

• Maintain detailed and confidential client records, adhering to all regulatory and ethical standards to protect client privacy and uphold the integrity of the treatment process.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role involves working with a diverse client base, including adolescents and adults facing mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance abuse. Qualifications\n

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related mental health field is required.

• A valid New York State LMHC license is essential to practice.
