Key Responsibilities\n

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions that employ evidence-based therapeutic approaches tailored to meet the specific needs and circumstances of each patient.

• Serve as a primary support resource during mental health crises, offering immediate intervention strategies to stabilize and assist individuals in distress.

• Educate patients on the relationship between their mental health and physical health, empowering them with knowledge and skills to manage their conditions effectively.

• Maintain detailed and confidential documentation in accordance with HIPAA regulations and ethical guidelines, ensuring traceability and accountability in patient care.

• Engage actively in interdisciplinary team meetings and case discussions that inform comprehensive care strategies and improve overall patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position primarily serves individuals dealing with co-occurring medical conditions such as autoimmune disorders, chronic pain, and substance use disorders, who seek to improve their mental health. The therapist will play a crucial role in navigating multifaceted challenges and providing support to empower patients toward a healthier life.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current, valid licensure in one of the following: Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Psychologist.

• Demonstrated experience working with mental health needs related to co-occurring medical conditions is essential.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, allowing for effective engagement with patients from diverse backgrounds.

• A strong commitment to ethical standards and maintaining patient confidentiality.

• Proficient with electronic health record systems and computer applications relevant to telehealth.

Compensation and Benefits\n
