Key Responsibilities\n

• Manage a diverse caseload by building rapport and maintaining strong therapeutic relationships with clients while adhering to ethical guidelines and professional boundaries.

• Conduct regular sessions to assess client progress, discuss treatment strategies, plan for future appointments, and determine discharge criteria as needed.

• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized, person-centered treatment plans that address specific client needs and goals.
\n
• Document client progress rigorously, ensuring up-to-date records and treatment notes are maintained accurately and securely.

• Conduct thorough intake assessments that inform treatment planning and client engagement strategies.

• Facilitate individual therapy sessions each week, utilizing evidence-based practices tailored to clients’ unique situations.

• Engage in regular supervision to enhance clinical skills and foster professional growth within the field of mental health.

• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care and resources to clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The ideal candidate will focus primarily on working with youth who are navigating various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use issues. Qualifications\n

• Master's Degree in Mental Health or a related field.

• Active licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Texas.

• A minimum of one year of experience working with psychiatric populations and/or individuals dealing with substance use disorders.

• Proven track record in conducting assessments, diagnosing, and providing both individual and group therapy.

• Strong computer skills, with a familiarity of electronic health record systems and basic keyboarding proficiency.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in working with youth-at-risk or specialized populations is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits\n
