You will utilize advanced electronic health record systems, such as AVATAR, to track client progress and document outcomes accurately. Key Responsibilities\n

• Perform thorough initial assessments through virtual consultations, documenting each case from the first meeting to discharge.

• Evaluate clients’ mental, behavioral, and emotional health, identifying challenges and strengths that inform treatment strategies.

• Design and implement effective intervention and recovery plans for diverse client configurations, including individuals, couples, families, and groups.
\n
• Lead engaging individual and group therapy sessions, ensuring that each participant feels heard and supported.
\n
• Continuously monitor client progress toward treatment goals, making adjustments to plans as necessary based on their evolving needs.
\n
• Work collaboratively with other healthcare providers, including psychiatrists, physicians, nurses, and social workers to formulate comprehensive intervention strategies.

• Facilitate communication between clients and other specialists, particularly when managing cases with complex needs.

• Educate and empower family members and primary caregivers to help them manage the mental and behavioral challenges faced by their loved ones.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license in the state of Georgia as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW.
\n
• Successful completion of relevant examinations, such as the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

• Demonstrated previous experience in a mental health counseling role.
\n
• Proficiency with electronic health record systems, especially AVATAR, to ensure efficient and accurate documentation.

Preferred Experience\n

• A background in treating clients with co-occurring disorders, including emotional health conditions and addiction.

• Familiarity with American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA) best practices and guidelines.

• Understanding of pharmacological treatments and their effects as prescribed by medical professionals.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, alongside strong interpersonal qualities that foster a safe therapeutic space with clients.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications, along with a sign-on bonus for eligible candidates.
