Key Responsibilities\n

• Utilize the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders V (DSM-V) to formulate accurate mental health diagnoses, ensuring clients receive appropriate care.

• Develop individualized treatment plans based on the specific needs of clients, incorporating standard practice guidelines that align with their diagnoses.
\n
• Conduct therapy sessions utilizing various therapeutic models, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), behavior modification, and brief intervention strategies.
\n
• Provide clinical supervision to Mental Health Workers and therapy assistants, ensuring adherence to treatment standards and fostering their professional development.
\n
• Collaborate with community professionals to integrate cross-system treatment plans that address the comprehensive needs of clients.
\n
• Respond effectively to crisis situations by assessing urgent patient needs, providing immediate care, and coordinating referrals to critical services.
\n
• Offer training and education on clinical topics to team members and the broader community, promoting greater understanding and support for mental health initiatives.

• Perform intake assessments, including Integrated Biopsychosocial Assessments, to establish initial treatment needs and provide appropriate care for individuals with complex diagnoses.

The counselor will primarily serve a diverse clientele, focusing on mothers and individuals from underrepresented communities who may face socioeconomic barriers that impact their mental health. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology, Counseling, or Clinical Social Work from an accredited institution.

Compensation and Benefits\n
