Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Stretch Synaptic Therapy Services, your primary tasks will include:

• Assessing patients' functional abilities through detailed evaluations, including diagnostic and prognostic tests related to muscle, nerve, and joint function.
• Developing tailored physical therapy treatment plans aimed at preventing disabilities, alleviating pain, and restoring muscle function, thereby maximizing each client's performance capabilities.
• Supervising Physical Therapy Assistants to ensure the accurate delivery and implementation of treatment plans while maintaining high standards of care.
• Providing rehabilitative services in the hospital, including manual therapeutic exercises, traction, massage, and applications of physical agents such as heat or cold therapy.
• Conducting home environment assessments to facilitate client independence and recommend necessary adjustments to enhance rehabilitation.
• Recording and documenting patient progress accurately, preparing clinical records that include evaluations, care plans, and discharge summaries in compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Participating actively in multidisciplinary team meetings and case conferences, collaborating with other healthcare providers to develop comprehensive treatment strategies.
• Instructing clients and their families on the use of therapy devices and overall rehabilitation processes while addressing their questions and concerns.
• Staying current on state and federal regulations that govern physical therapy practices and ensuring compliance in all aspects of service delivery.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will meet the following criteria:

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program. A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred.

• A minimum of one year of experience in a physical therapy role, preferably within a hospital or outpatient setting.
• Strong clinical skills, analytical thinking, and decision-making capabilities.

• A commitment to continuous learning and professional development in the field of physical therapy.

Preferred Experience

While one year of experience is required, applicants with additional clinical experience, particularly in acute care, home care, or similar settings will be viewed favorably. Familiarity with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems and home health regulations is an asset.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 100,000 – 120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
