Work Environment

This role is distinctly onsite, allowing Physical Therapists to engage directly with patients within their own homes, which can significantly impact their recovery journey. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients recovering from injury, surgery, or dealing with chronic conditions, establishing a focal point for their care.
• Design, implement, and adapt treatment plans using methods such as therapeutic exercise, stretching techniques, hands-on manual therapy, and specialized equipment to alleviate pain and enhance mobility.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to facilitate patient progress and ensure they achieve personal health goals, maximizing their rehabilitation potential.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of treatment sessions, patient responses, and progress towards goals, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of each individual's journey.
• Regularly reassess and modify therapeutic goals, adjusting treatment plans as necessary based on patient feedback and clinical observation.
• Recommend and assist in fitting patients with appropriate assistive devices, ensuring they have the necessary tools for independence in daily activities.
• Educate patients, caregivers, and family members on rehabilitation techniques, assistive devices, and general physical care strategies to foster continued progress outside of therapy sessions.
• Stay current with developments in the field of physical therapy by attending workshops, reviewing literature, and participating in professional organizations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will include a diverse patient demographic, encompassing children, adults, and seniors with various needs, from post-operative recovery to chronic pain management. Tailoring treatment to individual lifestyles and environmental factors will be key in promoting optimal outcomes and enhancing patients' quality of life.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is required; a Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred.
• Active State License in Physical Therapy is mandatory.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential, along with proficiency in using computer systems for documentation and scheduling.
• A flexible and agile approach to work is preferred, as this role often requires adaptability to different patient environments.

Preferred Experience

While prior experience is not required, candidates with a background in home health care, pediatrics, or geriatric therapy will find their skills highly valued. We also welcome new graduates eager to learn and grow within our mentor-supported environment.

Compensation and Benefits
