Work Environment

Our therapists work onsite in home care settings, allowing you to create one-on-one relationships with your patients in a familiar environment. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments of patients' physical abilities and limitations to determine appropriate treatment plans.
• Design and implement customized treatment programs that include therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and the use of specialized equipment to alleviate pain and restore mobility.
• Utilize evidence-based practice to monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly to maximize functional outcomes.
• Document patient interactions and progress meticulously to maintain accurate health records and facilitate communication with other healthcare professionals.
• Educate patients, caregivers, and family members about treatment plans, therapy techniques, and the use of assistive devices to enhance patient independence.
• Engage in continuous professional development through workshops, seminars, and collaboration with colleagues to stay current with best practices in physical therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work primarily with patients recovering from various conditions, including post-operative recovery, chronic illnesses, sports injuries, and geriatric concerns. Your role as a physical therapist will focus on empowering patients of all ages to regain their independence, improve their mobility, and enhance their overall physical health.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid state license to practice physical therapy in Florida.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare team members.
• Proficient computer skills and familiarity with electronic health record systems.
• A strong team player who is highly adaptable and able to respond to the diverse needs of patients.

Preferred Experience

While the requirement is for at least 2 years of clinical experience, we are open to new graduates who possess a passion for home health care and a willingness to learn. We also value experience in related fields which may contribute to your clinical acumen in patient management.

Compensation and Benefits
