Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, culturally sensitive, strength-based assessments for new patients and their families to determine individual needs.

• Provide individual and family therapy sessions tailored to the specific requirements identified during assessments.
\n
• Complete necessary documentation, including billing, individualized treatment plans, and insurance authorization forms, ensuring timely compliance with confidentiality guidelines.
\n
• Develop and implement crisis, safety, and relapse prevention plans to support patient stability and overall well-being.
\n
• Create comprehensive discharge plans that ensure continuity of care post-treatment.
\n
• Adhere to all relevant federal and state laws and regulations, alongside NEHS policies and procedures, to maintain ethical and professional standards.
\n
• Engage in continuous professional development through training, workshops, and seminars to enhance skills and knowledge pertinent to mental health care.
\n
• Participate in case consultations and agency meetings to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, sharing insights and best practices.
\n
• Fulfill all licensure and mandatory training requirements as stipulated by the state and the organization.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The Licensed Mental Health Therapist will engage with a varied patient population that includes individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds who face different challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and family dynamics. Qualifications\n

• Holder of a Master’s degree in social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or a related field, which qualifies for licensing.

• Current licensure as a Mental Health Therapist (LPC, LMFT, or LCSW) within the State of Georgia is required.

• A minimum of two years of experience in providing mental health counseling in a clinical setting is preferred.
