In this role, you will work virtually within our community health clinic framework. Offering a flexible remote working environment, we empower our therapists to create and manage their own schedules while ensuring that work-life balance is prioritized. Our clinic operates Monday through Saturday, allowing our therapists the flexibility to choose hours that best suit their lifestyle and personal commitments. We also provide in-house credentialing and handle all insurance participation and scheduling, enabling you to focus solely on delivering exceptional care.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments for individuals, families, and groups, tailoring interventions to meet their unique needs.

• Lead initial comprehensive patient assessments, effectively triaging care and determining the appropriate level of support.

• Communicate clinical findings and treatment plans with interdisciplinary teams, ensuring collaborative patient care through regular documentation and meetings.

• Demonstrate expertise in addressing the physical, psychological, and social needs of patients from diverse backgrounds and age groups.

• Provide case management services for assigned patients, coordinating care with community resources and healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive support.

• Complete and submit all necessary documentation ethically and in a timely manner, in alignment with departmental standards.

• Utilize evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other clinical modalities to facilitate patient progress and individual service plans.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The clients you serve will vary widely, encompassing individuals from different age groups, cultural backgrounds, and presenting issues. You will provide therapy for a diverse range of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship struggles. Our approach emphasizes tailored treatment strategies to ensure that each patient receives the most appropriate care for their circumstances.

Qualifications\n

• Must hold an active license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the State of California.

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a mental health setting is required.

• Willingness to work between 5 to 40 therapy sessions per week, based on the clinician's availability and patient demand.

Preferred Experience\n

Experience in outpatient therapy and proficiency in evidence-based practices, particularly Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), will be highly advantageous. Familiarity with using electronic health record systems for documentation and communication with care teams is also preferred.
