The Role
As Executive Sous Chef, you'll serve as the right hand to the Executive Chef, helping oversee daily BOH operations, leading service, and ensuring the kitchen consistently delivers exceptional food and execution.
You'll play a key role in developing the culinary team, maintaining standards, and keeping the operation running efficiently and effectively.
What You'll Own
- Lead and execute high-volume service with precision and consistency
- Oversee daily BOH operations, systems, and standards
- Train, mentor, and develop Sous Chefs and line-level team members
- Maintain high standards for food quality, presentation, and sanitation
- Assist with inventory, ordering, scheduling, and cost controls
- Help drive accountability and operational excellence
- Build a strong, disciplined, and team-focused kitchen culture
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of leadership experience in a high-volume upscale or polished-casual restaurant
- Executive Sous Chef or strong Senior Sous Chef experience preferred
- Proven ability to lead and develop large culinary teams
- Strong understanding of food cost, labor, inventory, and operational systems
- Calm, confident, and hands-on leadership style
- Detail-oriented with high standards and strong accountability
