Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-depth clinical assessments of students to identify their emotional, social, and behavioral needs, followed by the formulation of comprehensive treatment plans.

• Implement diverse psychotherapeutic modalities ranging from cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) to dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), tailored to the unique profiles of the students you will serve.

• Maintain detailed and timely clinical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring confidentiality and support for billing and legal requirements.

• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, consisting of school counselors, educators, psychiatrists, and parents, to coordinate care and optimize student outcomes.

• Facilitate regular case consultations and peer-review sessions to enhance collaborative practice and engage in ongoing professional development.

• Educate and support students and their families on mental health issues, treatment options, and available community resources, empowering them with the knowledge they need.

• Stay informed on current research and developments in mental health to incorporate innovative best practices within your therapeutic approach.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on a diverse population of students within the school system. As a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker, you will address a variety of mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral challenges.
