THE OPPORTUNITY

\n

You will develop new shipper relationships and turn freight opportunities into profitable, recurring business. You’ll bring your experience into the Summit Link sales engine, with a defined process, supporting tools, clear expectations, and close collaboration with operations.

\n

WHAT YOU’LL DO

\n

• Build and execute a focused prospecting plan within our target industries.

\n

• Connect with shipping and logistics decision-makers through consistent calls, emails, and relationship-building.

\n

• Understand customer freight needs, generate quote opportunities, and win profitable business.

\n

• Develop lasting customer relationships from the first conversation through ongoing account growth.

\n

• Partner with operations on pricing validation, customer handoffs, and dependable service.

\n

• Keep activity, opportunities, and next steps accurate and current in Pipedrive.

\n

• Use Apollo and company communication tools to support your prospecting.

\n

• Meet defined activity, pipeline, quoting, and production expectations.

\n

• Participate actively in team meetings, share ideas, and help others succeed.

\n

WHAT YOU BRING

\n

• A minimum of 10 years of direct 3PL freight sales or freight brokerage sales experience.

\n

• A demonstrated record of personally winning new shipper customers and growing profitable accounts.

\n

• Strong knowledge of freight pricing, quoting, and brokerage services.

\n

• The initiative and discipline to prospect consistently and develop your own pipeline.

\n

• Experience using a CRM to manage activity and advance opportunities.

\n

• Strong communication, organization, and follow-through.

\n

• A team-first mindset and respect for the operations professionals delivering on customer commitments.

\n

• Willingness to work within the Summit Link sales engine and be accountable to clear, measurable expectations.

\n

General logistics, dispatch, or operations experience alone does not satisfy the freight sales experience requirement.

\n
