Position Overview

Fountain Hills Fitness Center is actively seeking a dedicated and passionate Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our team in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, on a full-time basis. In this role, you will be responsible for evaluating, planning, and implementing individualized treatment programs for patients with various orthopedic conditions, contributing to their recovery and improved quality of life.

Work Environment

The work setting is an onsite outpatient office where collaboration and teamwork come together to enhance patient outcomes. You will be working Monday through Friday, with a typical 40-hour workweek, allowing for a well-structured and predictable schedule. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments for patients referred by physicians, allowing for tailored treatment plans.
• Implement evidence-based interventions and therapeutic exercises that align with each patient's specific needs and goals.
• Demonstrate excellent customer service through open communication and active involvement with patients and their caregivers.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to maximize patient outcomes and ensure continuity of care.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of progress notes, discharge summaries, and treatment plans as per regulatory standards.
• Meet minimum utilization goals and contribute to the overall effectiveness of the team while actively participating in community outreach initiatives.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your caseload will primarily focus on orthopedic patients, but you will also have the opportunity to treat diverse populations, including pediatric and neurologic patients, as well as those involved in sports medicine. This variety will not only enhance your professional skills but also enable you to make a significant impact across different age groups and backgrounds.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current State License in Physical Therapy.
• Basic Life Support Certification from the American Heart Association.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and team members.
• Proficient in word processing and computer systems for documentation and reporting purposes.
• A commitment to building strong relationships with patients to help them achieve their rehabilitation goals.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in an outpatient physical therapy setting, particularly with orthopedic patients.
• Familiarity with contemporary therapeutic techniques and modalities to enhance treatment effectiveness.

Compensation and Benefits

Fountain Hills Fitness Center offers a competitive salary range of $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package. This includes performance-based incentives, reimbursement for local and national organization dues and license renewal fees, fitness incentives, and insurance benefits.
