Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' mental health to establish their individualized needs and treatment goals.

• Develop and implement tailored therapeutic plans that address a range of mental health issues including anxiety, depression, substance use, and emotional disturbances.

• Maintain consistent follow-up sessions with clients, providing support and effective strategies to help them navigate their challenges.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, making referrals as necessary to ensure a comprehensive approach to patient care, including consultations with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers.

• Document client progress and therapy sessions accurately in our EHR system, ensuring compliance with ethical guidelines and maintaining confidentiality.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will serve a diverse clientele with various mental health challenges, including those facing substance abuse issues, emotional distress, and mood disorders. Your work will significantly contribute to the mental wellness of individuals across Elizabeth, New Jersey, and surrounding areas, fostering resilience and promoting a healthier community.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Valid and current license in the state of New Jersey (LMFT, LPC, or LCSW).

• A minimum of four years of relevant clinical experience in mental health counseling with a variety of patient populations.

Compensation and Benefits\n
