Work Environment

This role is predominantly onsite, where you'll perform patient assessments and treatments in various home environments throughout Miami. Your focus will be on establishing a comfortable and motivating atmosphere for patients as you work collaboratively to implement tailored treatment plans designed to optimize their progress. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients referred by physicians to develop tailored treatment strategies.
• Implement and adjust individualized therapy programs based on each patient's progress and specific needs.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to treat individuals across a variety of specialties, including orthopedics, pediatrics, sports medicine, and neurology.
• Engage with patients and their caregivers, offering education and training on exercises and techniques to encourage active participation in their recovery.
• Demonstrate outstanding customer service, contributing positively to the patient experience and overall clinic effectiveness.
• Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to maximize patient outcomes and ensure a holistic approach to care.
• Adhere to the physician's plan of care while employing skilled therapeutic techniques to promote optimal recovery and functional improvement.
• Meet or exceed utilization goals and other performance metrics established by the organization.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your clientele will include a diverse range of individuals requiring physical rehabilitation services at home. This may involve treating patients recovering from surgeries, dealing with chronic pain, or needing rehabilitation for sports-related injuries. Your role will be critical in their recovery process, as you will not only address their physical limitations but also provide motivational support that encourages independence.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or related field.
• Current and valid State License in Physical Therapy.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification from the American Heart Association.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to interact effectively with patients and their families.
• Proficiency in computer skills for documentation and patient management.
• A strong desire to build lasting relationships with patients and the community.
• Team player with a genuine caring attitude towards helping others.

Preferred Experience

While a Bachelor's Degree is required, candidates with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) will stand out. Previous experience in home health settings or working with a variety of patient populations will be advantageous. Familiarity with EMR systems or telehealth practices can enhance your effectiveness in this dynamic role.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, complemented by a competitive benefits package designed to support your well-being and professional growth.
