Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical conditions and mobility limitations to develop personalized treatment plans.
• Utilize various therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and neuromuscular re-education, to enhance rehabilitation outcomes.
• Monitor and document patient progress regularly, adjusting treatment protocols as needed to ensure optimal recovery.
• Engage in clinical teaching by providing mentorship to physical therapy interns and staff members, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
• Initiate and participate in clinical research projects to stay at the forefront of orthopedic physical therapy advancements, with the support of management.
• Actively participate in staff meetings to collaborate on treatment strategies and share insights on patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on outpatient orthopedic patients, ranging from post-surgical rehabilitation to individuals with chronic musculoskeletal conditions. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program is required.
• An active Physical Therapy license in New York is mandatory.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in an orthopedic or outpatient setting, demonstrating your capacity to deliver exceptional patient care.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build rapport with patients and families.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
