TouchPoint is a customer focused support services provider in the healthcare industry, delivering high quality and excellent customer service. Job Summary As a Sous Chef, you will support the Executive Chef in leading day‑to‑day operations of the culinary department across patient services, retail dining cafes, and catering. Your responsibilities include food production, menu execution, catering services, team leadership, and maintaining high standards of quality, presentation and food safety. Key Responsibilities Assist the Executive Chef in managing culinary operations and ensuring efficient kitchen performance. Support food cost management, budgeting, inventory control and expense oversight. Assist with menu planning, recipe development, and daily food production. Prepare, cook, and oversee the presentation of food to ensure quality and consistency. Execute catering and special events to ensure exceptional service and client satisfaction. Supervise and support hourly culinary team members, providing coaching and development as needed. Maintain compliance with food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards. Partner with company culinary and marketing teams to implement new programs, initiatives, and menu offerings. Assist with product ordering, inventory management, and vendor coordination. Preferred Qualifications Associate degree in Culinary Arts or equivalent combination of education and experience. Progressive culinary and kitchen leadership experience. Catering and special event experience preferred. Experience in high‑volume, complex foodservice environments strongly preferred. Institutional, healthcare, or batch cooking experience is a plus. Strong knowledge of food trends, culinary techniques, quality standards, food cost controls, sanitation, and presentation. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Outlook, email and internet applications. Demonstrated commitment to customer satisfaction and client engagement initiatives. ServSafe Certification.
