Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to understand clients' mental and emotional health, utilizing various engagement techniques.

• Formulate and implement personalized treatment plans through collaboration with clients, taking into account their unique challenges and aspirations.

• Deliver individual therapy sessions using evidence-based interventions, skillfully addressing a multitude of mental health issues.
\n
• Facilitate couples therapy sessions focused on improving communication, resolving conflicts, and enhancing relationship dynamics.

• Maintain meticulous documentation of client interactions, progress notes, and treatment plans, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

• Regularly review treatment plans in light of client progress and changing needs, adapting strategies as required.
\n
• Actively participate in crisis intervention, providing immediate support and guidance to clients in acute distress.
\n
• Engage with interdisciplinary teams, coordinating care with other healthcare professionals to uphold holistic practices.

• Participate in ongoing learning and training to remain abreast of emerging trends and techniques in marriage and family therapy, enriching your clinical skills.

• Advocate for client rights and well-being, working closely with clients to empower them in their therapeutic journey.

• Ensure a secure and confidential virtual therapy environment for clients, utilizing appropriate telehealth technologies.

• Represent the Woman's Counseling Center with professionalism and integrity in all interactions.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clientele includes a diverse demographic, ranging from teenagers to adults and couples experiencing various mental health concerns. You will address issues such as anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, trauma, and family dynamics, offering tailored support to empower them in their personal growth and healing journeys.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or a related field is required.
\n
• Active licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Pennsylvania is mandatory.
\n
• Demonstrated ability to effectively deliver both individual and couples therapy.
\n
• Experience with various age groups, including children and adults.
\n
• Strong proficiency in client assessment, documentation, and treatment plan processes.
\n
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, with a readiness to navigate electronic health record systems.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in a community health setting or similar environment.

• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and remote therapy delivery.
\n
• Training or expertise in specific therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or Family Systems Therapy.
