ANALYST II / ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICES / HUMAN RESOURCES / WORKFORCE PLANNING & RECRUITING OFFICE

ANALYST I will also be considered for recruitment purposes.  The reporting location for this position is 715 P Street, Sacramento, CA. This position will work under the direction of Supervisor I.

The Recruitment Analyst (Analyst II) supports the Workforce  Planning and Recruitment Office (WPRO) by assisting in the implementation of modern, data-driven  recruitment strategies with a focus on candidate consultation, stakeholder engagement, proactive outreach,  marketing, and special projects. The incumbent plays an important role in connecting qualified, diverse  candidates with current and future opportunities across California State Parks by coordinating directly with  hiring managers, district leadership, and external partners.

This position assists in planning and executing recruitment initiatives—including webinars, outreach events, and social media campaigns—to promote the Department’s employer brand and strengthen recruitment pipelines statewide. This position requires strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to provide excellent customer service and work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic team environment. Travel, including occasional evenings and weekends, may be required.

This position requires a class C equivalent driver's license. 

Training and Development Assignments may be considered.

This position is designated as telework eligible-office centered.
