This role focuses on improving the lives of patients recovering from various conditions in the comfort of their homes. Work Environment

This Full-Time position is centered around a home care setting in Manassas, VA, allowing for a unique opportunity to work directly within the community and provide one-on-one patient care. Our therapists enjoy a structured schedule of either 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM or 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday, ensuring a work-life balance conducive to both professional and personal fulfillment.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients recovering from injury, disease, or surgery in their home environments.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that incorporate various therapeutic modalities, such as exercises, stretching techniques, and hands-on therapy.
• Monitor progress by tracking and documenting treatment responses and outcomes, and make adjustments to therapy plans as necessary.
• Employ a patient-centered approach, working collaboratively with patients, family members, and caregivers to teach rehabilitation techniques.
• Maintain professional development by engaging in educational workshops and staying updated with the latest physical therapy practices and techniques.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population involves a diverse range of individuals, including children, seniors, and those recovering from surgeries or chronic conditions. The ideal therapist will be sensitive to the unique challenges of providing therapy to patients in their homes, understanding that this setting requires adaptability and empathy. Our focus is on restoring patients' independence and enhancing their functional mobility.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy (DPT).
• A valid State License to practice Physical Therapy.
• A minimum of two years of experience in a physical therapy setting, preferably with home care or outpatient care experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to foster patient relationships effectively.
• Competent computer and word processing skills for documentation purposes.
• Ability to be flexible and agile in your approach to patient care.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
