Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and assess patients recovering from injury, disease, or surgery to develop individualized treatment plans.
• Implement a variety of therapeutic techniques, such as therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modalities to promote pain relief and healing.
• Regularly track and document patient progress, adjusting treatment goals and methodologies as necessary.
• Educate patients and their families on healing processes and provide instruction on exercises and the use of assistive devices.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care, participating in case reviews and clinical discussions.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge in the physical therapy field by engaging in professional development, including workshops and seminars.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The patients you will serve range from youth athletes recovering from sports injuries to older adults seeking rehabilitation following surgery or chronic pain. Your expertise will play a critical role in addressing diverse needs and preferences, ensuring that each treatment plan is personalized and effective. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or related field from an accredited institution.
• Valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Virginia.

• Ability to adapt to changing environments and patient demands.

Preferred Experience
