As a mental health counselor with Active Path Counseling Center, you will work remotely within a telehealth framework. The use of advanced electronic health record (EHR) systems will facilitate streamlined documentation of client interactions and treatment plans. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and initial evaluations of clients to determine their mental health status.

• Develop personalized treatment plans addressing individual mental health challenges, ensuring that therapeutic interventions are both evidence-based and culturally competent.

• Facilitate regular counseling sessions, utilizing both individual and group therapy methods to empower clients with effective coping strategies and resources.

• Maintain thorough and confidential records of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes through an EHR system.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals when necessary, referring clients for additional treatment as required.

This role will involve working with a diverse population of individuals seeking support for various mental health concerns. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in Texas.

• A minimum of four years of relevant clinical experience in counseling or therapy.

• Comprehensive understanding of mental health disorders, treatment modalities, and an ability to practice cultural competence in therapeutic settings.

• Experience employing both individual and group therapy techniques in a manner that is inclusive and responsive to the needs of clients.

• Strong clinical assessment skills along with proven crisis intervention capabilities.

Compensation and Benefits\n

Active Path Counseling Center offers a competitive salary range of $70,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
