Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments to evaluate clients' mental health needs and collaboratively develop personalized treatment plans that outline clear goals and strategies.

• Facilitate individual therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness approaches tailored to each client's distinct situation.

• Provide crisis intervention services, ensuring clients experiencing immediate distress receive the support needed to ensure their safety and emotional well-being.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including psychologists, psychiatrists, and social workers to coordinate care and develop holistic treatment strategies.

• Maintain accurate client records through our Electronic Health Record (EHR) system in accordance with HIPAA regulations and ethical standards, ensuring confidentiality and integrity of patient data.

• Engage in ongoing professional development by participating in training sessions and workshops to remain current with the latest research and therapeutic practices in the mental health field.

• Contribute ideas and feedback towards program development initiatives that enhance the therapeutic services offered by our organization.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a mental health counselor at Ventures Diagnostic Services, you will work collaboratively with a diverse population of clients facing a range of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship struggles, and more. Our approach is centered on personalized care that respects the unique cultural and socio-economic backgrounds of each client, ensuring an affirming and inclusive environment.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree or higher in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW in the state of California is mandatory.

• Demonstrable knowledge and integration of evidence-based therapeutic techniques in clinical practice.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills, allowing for immediate rapport building with clients from diverse backgrounds.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of experience working directly with clients facing emotional, psychological, or social challenges is preferred.

• Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems is advantageous, as it lends efficiency to documentation processes.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this full-time position is between $115,000 to $130,000 per year , commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to competitive compensation, full-time counselors are eligible for a monthly healthcare stipend. Therapists also enjoy complimentary access to the platform’s services as clients, provided they remain active on the platform, supporting self-care and personal growth.
