Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct culturally sensitive, strength-based assessments for new patients and their families, crafting personalized therapeutic approaches based on individual needs.

• Provide individual and family therapy sessions, adapting techniques to meet each client’s specific health and emotional needs.

• Manage administrative responsibilities such as timely completion of billing, documentation, and individualized treatment plans, as well as insurance authorization forms.

• Develop and implement crisis plans, safety plans, relapse prevention plans, and wellness plans to assist clients in maintaining stable functioning.
\n
• Create comprehensive discharge plans that outline steps for ongoing care and support.
\n
• Adhere to all current federal, state laws, and NEHS regulatory requirements while maintaining ethical standards in practice.

• Engage in continuous professional development through training and continuing education to enhance skillsets.
\n
• Participate actively in case consultations and agency meetings to contribute to a collaborative team environment.
\n
• Ensure compliance with all licensing and mandatory training requirements.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role will involve working with a diverse client population that includes individuals facing various mental health challenges. You will support patients experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma-related disorders, and family dynamics issues, among others. As a therapist, your empathetic approach and clinical skills will be crucial in building rapport and trust, providing a safe space for clients to explore their thoughts and feelings.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or a related field that qualifies for licensure.

• Active licensure as a Mental Health Therapist in Maryland (LCPC, LMFT, or LCSW-C).

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in providing therapy, preferably in a telehealth setting.

Compensation and Benefits\n

Inland Psychiatric Counseling Center offers a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and licensure. Benefits include:
