Job Details Job Title: Accounts Payable Staff Location: Aetrex, Inc. 414 Alfred Ave. Teaneck NJ 07666 Department: Accounting Employment Type: Full-Time Salary Range: $50,000 - $60,000 based on experience. Tasks and Responsibilities Analyze, verify, code, and post invoices in ERP system Review invoices and requisitions for satisfactory payment approval Maintain copies of vouchers, invoices or correspondence necessary for files Clarify any questionable invoice items, terms, or prices; research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issue Reconcile vendor statements to make sure accounts are correct and current Analyze all accounts on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis to ensure payment accuracy Research and approve new vendors and create new vendor accounts Create and post journal entries as needed Correspond with vendors and respond to inquiries Produce weekly and monthly payable reports Assist with month end closing Provide supporting documentation for audits Maintain accurate historical records Payment posting for vendor invoices Proactively monitor and track the status of 'outstanding items' to ensure all deadlines are met Education and Experience An associate degree or a certificate in business accounting (preferred, not required) 1-3 years accounts payable or general accounting experience Proficient in data entry and management Comfortable with productivity tools such as Microsoft Office Suite Functional knowledge of database and spreadsheet tools, such as Excel Strong basic mathematical skills An excellent communicator, both verbally and in writing Analytical and problem-solving skills to fully address accounts payable issues Aetrex, Inc. is an equal opportunity employer. #J-18808-Ljbffr Aetrex, Inc.
