About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President, Financial Operations to provide strategic leadership in ensuring that financial products, systems, services, and procedures align with the business's strategic and tactical objectives. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the standardization and optimization of financial and accounting policies and processes, managing a team that includes direct and indirect reports, and engaging in continuous improvement and innovation to enhance operational efficiencies. This role requires a strong focus on industry trends and best practices, as well as the ability to work closely with IT and project management associates to meet the technology needs of the business. Applicants must have a minimum of 15 years' experience in managing stakeholder relationships and technology in Microsoft-based systems, with a proven track record in project management and leading large financial system projects. The role demands excellent communication skills, the ability to influence senior leadership, and experience in managing diverse, cross-functional teams. A Bachelor's degree is required, with an advanced degree or CPA being a plus. The ideal candidate will have a strategic, forward-thinking mindset, be adept at problem-solving, and have a strong background in financial and accounting acumen. Experience with Workday, Concur, and Vena is essential, and a background in Great Plains and Financial Services is a plus. The role also requires the ability to build and lead high-performing financial operation teams and a commitment to the core values of the company.
