Physio Recovery Center is seeking a dedicated full-time Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our dynamic rehabilitation team in Syracuse, New York. Work Environment

This role will take place onsite in our Syracuse facility, where you will work in a supportive and positive atmosphere, promoting a culture of teamwork and family-oriented care. Your typical schedule will be Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM. We primarily cater to patients with private medical insurance, allowing you to focus on providing comprehensive treatment without administrative distractions.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and address patients' rehabilitation goals and needs through thorough assessments and personalized treatment plans.
• Manage a patient caseload of 2-3 patients per hour, ensuring quality care and attention to each individual.
• Utilize a variety of treatment techniques and modalities to improve patient outcomes and enhance mobility.
• Develop comprehensive care plans that focus on wellness and rehabilitation, using evidence-based practices.
• Educate patients on alternative treatments to reduce reliance on medications and the need for surgical interventions.
• Create targeted fitness and wellness programs to improve patients' strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Provide motivation and encouragement throughout treatment while monitoring and communicating progress to patients and the healthcare team.
• Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic and effective patient care.
• Document all patient interactions and treatment decisions in compliance with legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic medical record (EMR) systems, such as WebPT.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at Physio Recovery Center, you will primarily work with patients recovering from orthopedic injuries and surgeries. Our client population includes athletes, post-operative patients, and individuals seeking rehabilitation for chronic pain, mobility issues, and functional decline. Your interventions will play a significant role in helping patients regain independence and improve their overall health status.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required to ensure the highest standard of care.
• A valid Physical Therapist license in New York, free from any board actions or disciplinary actions.
• Strong manual therapy skills and proficiency in therapeutic exercise techniques.
• Experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is essential for clinical success.
• Familiarity with EMR software, such as WebPT, to efficiently document patient care.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in a sports medicine or orthopedic rehabilitation facility is highly desirable.
• Ability to develop fitness and wellness-oriented programs that cater to the unique needs of diverse patient demographics.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 110,000, commensurate with experience.
