Full-Time Outpatient Physical Therapist in Rehabilitation Facility

Position Overview

Flex and Flow of Motion Therapeutics is currently seeking a dedicated and passionate full-time Physical Therapist to join our vibrant team in Miami, Florida. In this role, you will be a pivotal partner in our patients' recovery journeys, focusing on restoring mobility, enhancing physical function, and promoting overall health. Work Environment

This full-time Physical Therapist position is onsite at our modern rehabilitation facility, which fosters a supportive and team-oriented atmosphere. Our facility is equipped with the latest rehabilitation technology and resources, allowing for effective treatment and maximizing patient outcomes. You will work a Monday to Friday schedule from 8 AM to 5 PM, ensuring work-life balance while serving a diverse clientele.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate patient conditions through comprehensive assessments to identify needs and establish short-term and long-term treatment goals.
• Develop and execute personalized treatment plans that incorporate a variety of therapeutic techniques, with a focus on improving patient mobility and functional outcomes.
• Implement cost-effective therapies aimed at enhancing the range of motion and reducing reliance on medications, considering non-invasive alternatives wherever feasible.
• Motivate and encourage patients during their rehabilitation process by setting achievable milestones and celebrating their progress.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including occupational therapists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated care delivery.
• Conduct regular evaluations of patient progress, making timely adjustments to treatment plans as necessary based on outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records, documenting all services rendered and ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Educate patients and their families about exercises, self-care techniques, and lifestyle modifications to sustain recovery.
• Lead group therapy sessions and workshops focused on health promotion, wellness, and injury prevention.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population predominantly consists of adults recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, or chronic conditions such as arthritis and lower back pain. You will also have the opportunity to work with diverse patient groups, including elderly clients needing mobility assistance and individuals in need of rehabilitation following neurological events such as strokes. Our goal is to provide compassionate, individualized care that empowers patients to improve their daily living and functional skills.

Qualifications

• A Master's (MPT) or Doctorate (DPT) degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Active Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida with no record of disciplinary actions.
• Proficient in manual therapy techniques and exercise program design.
• Strong familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, specifically WebPT.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective interaction with patients and the healthcare team.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience working in orthopedic outpatient settings is strongly preferred.
• Experience with implementing evidence-based practice in clinical settings.
• Ability to design and lead wellness programs that address various fitness levels and needs.

Compensation and Benefits
