Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to determine their physical therapy needs related to orthopedic injuries, surgeries, or medical conditions.
• Design and implement customized treatment plans using modalities such as therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and assistive devices.
• Monitor patient progress and adapt treatment plans as necessary to achieve the best functional outcomes.
• Document all treatment sessions thoroughly, including patient responses and progress, to ensure continuity of care.
• Provide education and training to patients and their families on exercise regimens and the use of assistive devices, fostering self-management and independence.
• Engage in regular professional development activities, including attending workshops and networking with peers to stay current with best practices in physical therapy.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, including physicians and occupational therapists, to coordinate comprehensive patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with a diverse patient demographic, including children, adults, and senior citizens facing various orthopedic challenges. You will have the opportunity to assist patients recovering from surgeries such as joint replacements and those dealing with acute or chronic musculoskeletal disorders. Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Current state license to practice physical therapy in New Jersey.

Compensation and Benefits
