Work Environment

The work setting is onsite at our advanced rehabilitation clinic, where our staff collaborates closely to create an environment that promotes healing and recovery. Operating on a Monday to Friday schedule from 9 AM to 5 PM, this position provides a balanced work-life arrangement while maintaining a fulfilling professional career. Our physical therapy team comprises two experienced physical therapists and a physical therapy assistant, fostering a culture of support and growth.

Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for:

• Assessing and identifying the specific goals and needs of each patient, creating individualized treatment plans to meet those objectives.
• Managing a patient load of one individual per hour, ensuring each patient receives focused and comprehensive care.
• Delivering cost-effective treatment strategies that enhance mobility while reducing reliance on medications and exploring non-surgical alternatives.
• Employing a variety of treatment techniques, including manual therapy and therapeutic exercise, customized to each patient's requirements.
• Motivating patients throughout their rehabilitation journey to optimize their functional outcomes.
• Promoting a healthy lifestyle by enhancing patients' strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination through tailored fitness and wellness programs.
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure a comprehensive approach to patient care.
• Documenting all patient interactions and treatment outcomes in compliance with clinic protocols, including the use of EMR software such as WebPT.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary focus is on patients receiving orthopedic care. The patient population primarily comprises individuals with private medical insurance, including athletes recovering from injuries, post-operative patients, and those managing chronic pain conditions. Our goal is to return patients to their daily lives and enhance their overall quality of life through specialized treatment tailored to their needs.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates must possess:

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• An active New Jersey Physical Therapist license without any records of board actions or disciplinary measures.
• Exceptional manual therapy skills, alongside experience designing and executing effective exercise programs.
• Proficiency in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT, to track patient progress and document care.

Preferred Experience

We prefer candidates with at least two years of relevant experience in orthopedic outpatient care. Familiarity with advanced rehabilitation techniques and a strong background in sports medicine practices will be considered an asset.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
