Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations, including preliminary interviews, and document cases accurately from initial consultations through to the completion of treatment.
\n
• Develop tailored treatment and recovery plans that address the unique needs of individuals, couples, families, and groups.
\n
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, engaging clients in therapeutic practices that enhance their coping strategies and mental health resilience.
\n
• Monitor client progress throughout the treatment plan and adjust interventions as necessary to achieve desired outcomes.
\n
• Collaborate effectively with a range of healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, doctors, nurses, and social workers, to formulate and implement cohesive intervention strategies.
\n
• Stay abreast of the latest developments in psychotherapy and adhere to the industry best practices outlined by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).
\n
• Assist clients in navigating their mental health journeys through ongoing support and follow-up with other healthcare providers as needed.
\n
• Educate and support family members and primary caregivers in managing their loved ones' mental health and behavioral challenges, equipping them with tools and knowledge to facilitate recovery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our client demographics are diverse, encompassing individuals from various cultural, socioeconomic, and experiential backgrounds. As a counselor, you will work with clients who present a spectrum of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and addiction, offering you opportunities to apply your skills in a meaningful and impactful way.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW in the state of California.

• Successful completion of the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).
\n
• Demonstrated experience as a mental health counselor, ideally within community health settings.
\n
• Proficient in utilizing electronic health record systems, specifically AVATAR, for documentation and client management.
\n
• Thorough understanding of the complexities surrounding physical and emotional health conditions, alongside addiction-related disorders.
\n
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a genuine empathetic approach to client care.

Compensation and Benefits\n
