Key Responsibilities\n

• Evaluate and assess the mental health status of patients during initial and ongoing sessions, taking into account their personal history and presenting concerns.

• Design personalized, evidence-based treatment plans that effectively address the unique needs and goals of each client.

• Conduct regular therapy sessions—both one-on-one and group therapy—equipping clients with resources and coping mechanisms to manage their mental health challenges.

• Facilitate communication with other healthcare professionals when necessary, referring clients to specialists such as psychiatrists for medication management as appropriate.

• Maintain comprehensive and accurate documentation using electronic health record (EHR) systems to track patient progress and treatment efficacy.

• Provide crisis intervention and support during urgent situations, demonstrating the ability to remain calm and provide prompt assistance.

• Participate in ongoing professional development, including continuing education opportunities to stay current with evolving methodologies and practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will work with a diverse range of clients who may present with an array of mental health issues including but not limited to: depression, anxiety, substance abuse, eating disorders, and trauma-related conditions. You will employ a culturally responsive approach to therapy, ensuring all clients feel understood and respected.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in a relevant field such as Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid professional license (LMFT, LPC, LCSW) to practice in the state of Arizona.
\n
• A minimum of four years of related clinical experience, demonstrating expertise in a variety of therapeutic techniques.

• Comprehensive knowledge of mental health disorders and the latest evidence-based treatment approaches.

• Proficiency in using EHR systems along with strong computer skills for documentation and reporting.

Compensation and Benefits\n
