Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments, effectively evaluating how co-occurring medical conditions influence patients’ mental health.

• Design and implement tailored treatment plans that holistically address both psychiatric and medical issues, ensuring personalized care.

• Facilitate individual therapy sessions and group therapy, utilizing evidence-based treatment modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• Actively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including primary care providers and specialists, to coordinate comprehensive care and optimize treatment outcomes.

• Provide crisis intervention and support during mental health emergencies, applying therapeutic skills to stabilize and assist patients in critical moments.

• Educate patients on the crucial interplay between mental health and physical wellness, empowering them to actively participate in their treatment.

• Maintain meticulous documentation of patient interactions and care plans in compliance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards.

• Engage in team meetings and case conferences to share insights, discuss patient progress, and contribute to ongoing multidisciplinary care planning.

• Stay informed on current best practices in mental health and advancements in integrated care to enhance service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with adults experiencing a range of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders, particularly those with accompanying medical conditions. Our patients value an understanding and compassionate approach that addresses their complex needs and fosters lasting improvements in their overall well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid state licensure as an LMHC, LCSW, LCSW-R, Licensed Psychoanalyst, Psychologist, or LMFT.

• Strong understanding and experience in managing the mental health needs of individuals with co-occurring medical conditions.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills that foster a trusting therapeutic relationship with patients.

• Proven ability to maintain professional boundaries and uphold ethical guidelines, ensuring confidentiality at all times.

• Competence with electronic health record systems and familiarity with telehealth applications.

Compensation and Benefits\n
