Work Environment

This position is set in an onsite outpatient care environment, emphasizing team collaboration and direct patient interaction. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough initial assessments to determine patient needs, followed by the development of individualized treatment plans.
• Implement and oversee therapeutic interventions, including active and passive exercises, muscle re-education, and functional training.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living, prosthetic training, and gait rehabilitation, while providing physical support and guidance.
• Educate patients and their families about care plans and the rehabilitation process to ensure understanding and compliance.
• Maintain consistent communication with team members to guarantee the highest quality of care is provided, participating in case reviews and contributing to collaborative treatment approaches.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your expertise will primarily benefit a diverse population experiencing various orthopedic conditions. This includes post-operative rehabilitation, sports injuries, and chronic pain management, allowing you to make a significant impact on patients of all ages and backgrounds as they strive to regain mobility and independence.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution or a foreign equivalent.
• Current California State license to practice as a Physical Therapist.

Preferred Experience

While new graduates are welcomed and encouraged to apply, previous clinical experience, particularly in outpatient orthopedic settings, is preferred. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems will also be a beneficial asset.

Compensation and Benefits
