Key Responsibilities\n

• Collaborate with clients and their family members to monitor behavioral changes and responses to treatment, ensuring a holistic approach to care.

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify the underlying causes of clients' issues, facilitating the development of effective treatment plans.
\n
• Refer clients to psychiatrists, advanced practice registered nurses (APRNs), or substance use disorder specialists as necessary for additional evaluations.
\n
• Provide tailored solutions and interventions aimed at helping clients with low self-esteem, familial challenges, addiction, and suicidal ideation navigate their struggles.
\n
• Maintain accurate and confidential records of client interactions, analyzing data to refine treatment methodologies that best serve each individual.
\n
• Engage in regular supervision and consultation with other staff to stay updated on best practices and evolving strategies in mental health counseling.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work with a varied population, including clients experiencing mental health issues, substance abuse disorders, or challenges related to intellectual disabilities. You will utilize a person-centered approach to tailor your interventions, ensuring that each client receives the appropriate support they need to achieve their mental health goals.

Qualifications\n

• Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• Active and unrestricted licenses as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).
\n
• No history of medical malpractice claims, verified by a third-party organization.
\n
• Authorization to work in the United States.
\n

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous experience in a virtual counseling setting is strongly preferred.

• Experience working with diverse populations, especially individuals with substance use disorders and mental health challenges.

• Familiarity with telehealth technology and electronic health record (EHR) systems.

Compensation and Benefits\n
