Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments, inclusive of psychosocial evaluations, diagnostic interviews, and risk assessments to establish a clear clinical understanding of each patient's needs.

• Collaborate with patients to formulate individualized treatment plans that integrate their goals, preferences, and cultural backgrounds, ensuring that treatment is personalized and effective.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions in individual, couple, family, and group settings, utilizing modalities such as CBT, DBT, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) in a constructive manner.

• Provide crisis intervention services to clients in acute distress and liaise with other healthcare professionals to facilitate continuity of care.

• Maintain meticulous clinical documentation, including progress notes and treatment plans, compliant with both clinic policies and regulatory standards, ensuring traceability and accountability.

• Empower patients and their families through psychoeducation, equipping them with the skills and knowledge necessary to manage their mental health effectively.

• Engage in multidisciplinary collaboration with teams that may include psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses, and case managers to ensure holistic patient care.

• Conduct regular outcome assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of treatment protocols, making necessary adjustments as warranted by patient progress.

• Stay abreast of current research, best practices, and emerging trends in mental health therapy to continually enhance your clinical practice.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid licensure as an LCMFT, LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW-C in the state of Maryland.

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team.

• Exemplary interpersonal and communication skills, with the capacity to establish meaningful rapport with diverse patient populations.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience providing mental health counseling in a clinical setting.
