Position Overview

Heal And Align Physical Therapy is actively seeking a dedicated and licensed Orthopedic Physical Therapist (PT) to join our outpatient rehabilitation team in Greenacres, Florida. In this full-time role, you will assess, diagnose, and implement tailored treatment plans for patients experiencing orthopedic conditions, sports-related injuries, and post-surgical recovery challenges. Work Environment

As part of our dedicated team, you will work in a supportive and invigorating environment. Our rehabilitation facility is equipped with state-of-the-art technology, therapeutic modalities, and functional training equipment. You will work Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, providing you with a balanced work-life schedule while contributing to our mission of healing and alignment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess patients' physical capabilities, including range of motion, strength, and functional limitations, while establishing baseline measurements for progress tracking.
• Create and implement individualized treatment plans aimed at enhancing mobility, increasing strength, and alleviating pain, utilizing advanced therapeutic techniques.
• Administer hands-on therapeutic interventions such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and neuromuscular re-education tailored to the patient's specific conditions.
• Utilize rehabilitation modalities including ultrasound, electrical stimulation, and cryotherapy for effective patient management as clinically indicated.
• Foster interdisciplinary collaboration with physicians, occupational therapists, and athletic trainers to promote comprehensive patient care and optimize treatment outcomes.
• Educate patients on effective injury prevention strategies, prescribe home exercise programs, and advise on lifestyle adjustments that support long-term health.
• Maintain precise and up-to-date documentation in accordance with clinic standards and regulatory requirements to support clinical decision-making and improve patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will primarily involve working with patients dealing with a variety of orthopedic injuries and conditions, including but not limited to post-operative rehabilitation, sports injuries, and chronic pain syndromes. You will play a vital role in guiding each patient through their recovery journey, helping them reclaim their strength and functionality through personalized care.

Qualifications

• Education: Possession of a Bachelor's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Licensure: Must hold an active and valid Physical Therapy license in the state of Florida.
• Skills: Strong manual therapy skills, with a demonstrated understanding of evidence-based orthopedic practices.
• Personal Attributes: Excellent verbal and written communication, strong interpersonal skills, and effective organizational abilities are essential to succeed in this position.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in an orthopedic outpatient or sports rehabilitation setting is highly desirable.
